Frequently Asked Questions for Visitors to Unity of Tustin
When are Sunday Services?
Our Services are at 9 and 11 a.m.
How long are your services?
Our services usually last one hour and fifteen minutes.
How large is your community?
We have nearly 300 members. About 200 attend our Sunday services, about 75 at the 9 a.m. service and 125 at the 11 a.m.
What happens at a Sunday service?
Our services are inspiring and meaningful, including prayer and guided and silent meditation (5 minutes). The message or Sunday talk offers insight that fosters spiritual growth and awakens you to your spiritual nature. We feature our regular musicians as well as guests chosen carefully for their gifts as performers as well as their alignment with our teachings. This is a warm, inclusive and welcoming environment. The sign at the entry to our Sanctuary reads: “One God, Many Paths. This is Sacred Space Where Boundaries Dissolve. All Faiths Welcome.”
As a first-time visitor, what can I expect?
We ask first-time visitors during the announcements portion of our service to raise their hands so we may recognize them. We ask them to visit the Welcome table immediately outside the sanctuary to receive a welcome booklet and sign up to be on our mailing list, if desired. You will receive our weekly emails on upcoming services and musicians as well as information about classes, workshops and events at Unity of Tustin. You will also receive our quarterly newsletters with articles by our ministers and Board and announcements of upcoming events and classes. We do not contact you unless requested to do so and never share your personal information.
What do I wear?
Whether you choose casual or Sunday best, we welcome the style that makes you feel comfortable.
I have children. May I bring them?
We have an outstanding program for children, the Youth and Family Ministry. We have infant care at the 9 & 11 a.m. services and Sunday classes for ages 4 – 18 at 11 a.m.
