Let There Be Divine Will
Let There Be Spiritual Understanding
On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon, and stars. Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to separate the day from night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.
We enter now into the realm of action with awareness. At each stage the energy is moving from the dimensions of the unmanifest toward the dimensions of the manifest. Divine Will is the executive power of the mind. Divine Will brings forth manifestation. We go into action. Spiritual Understanding—experiencing everything with the awareness of Spirit—is essential. As we move closer to manifest form, the conscious awareness moves into greater density. The clarity of the vibrations of Light becomes less visible. Sometimes it seems as if we are moving through a veil, seeing dimly. Yet we are becoming the hands of God in the world. Compassion fills our awareness.
The Garden:
Here is a welcoming outdoor room, a shelter in the garden. It is created of cedar and stones, which hold elemental, strong, silent, and long-lasting memories of the landscape. In contrast, the green marble mural illustrates the movement of the sun and planets and reveals the experience of time and seasons. This garden spot also includes bulbs from which flowers spring in nature's cycles, reminding us to have patience and be willing to wait for the right time to see our heart's yearnings come to fruition, the product of our Divine Imagination come into form.
A little further along the path stands a quiet niche within a solid structure of adobe, typical of Latin American architecture. Inside, a beautiful image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is set against a regal iridescent green sea glass tile background. She is depicted standing in front of the sun with her foot on the crescent moon, both symbolic of Divine light. Her star strewn mantle is said to reflect the constellation of stars that appeared in the sky on December 12, 1531, when she miraculously appeared to Juan Diego after having healed his sick uncle and then providing him with roses from a rocky frozen hill. Her message is one of love, faith and compassion, and her universal promise is one of help and protection for all humankind. This serene meditation site encourages contemplation upon awareness of complete surrender to the union of action and compassion.
