Rev. Carolyne Mathlin

Reverend Carolyne Mathlin, Senior Minister, is a licensed Unity minister at Unity of Tustin.  Carolyne was raised in Unity, specifically Unity of Tustin. Carolyne was licensed as a Unity Teacher in March 2007. Carolyne has served on Unity of Tustin’s staff since June 2002. Over the years, Carolyne has been a part of many aspects of Unity of Tustin. She has served on our staff in the Family Ministry Director, Bookkeeper and Ministry Director positions. In addition to her training through Unity Institute at Unity Village, Carolyne graduated from Unity of Tustin’s certificate program in Spiritual Education and Leadership.

 

 

Dr. Marj Britt

Dr. Marj Britt, Senior Minister Emeritus, is an ordained Unity minister at Unity of Tustin.  She sees her role as a facilitator of sacred space, one who holds the space of a Chalice where those who are called by God can come to be, to co-create and to play.  A dynamic of Unity as a campus of consciousness has evolved out of this vision.

Marj received her Doctoral Degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts with an emphasis in curriculum and counseling.  She anticipated a path of working with those who sought self-actualization.  She visualized that in areas of human resource development.

The Divine intervened, and in an experience of Light, Marj received the call of God which changed her life.  This led to ordination as a Unity minister in 1988 and a life of service to the Beloved.  She has been the Senior Minister at Unity of Tustin since 1993 and has been part of the sacred energy that has created a very active campus of consciousness, a seven-day-a-week ministry.

Prior to her coming to Unity of Tustin, she served in churches in Northern California and in various national and regional leadership roles.  She currently serves as Vice President of Unity Institute and Seminary Academic Council.

Rev. Lois Ryan

Reverend Lois Ryan is an ordained Unity minister at Unity of Tustin. Lois was ordained in March of 1997 after two years of licensed ministry at Unity of Tustin. Prior to coming here she served in leadership roles in Unity ministries in Santa Monica, San Juan Capistrano, Huntington Beach, and Seal Beach.

She was raised in Unity, becoming a Licensed Unity Teacher before receiving the call to ministry. She sees ministry as a spiritual education center for teaching and proving universal principles of Truth as revealed by Jesus Christ and embodied in the Unity teachings. She also sees ministry as a safe place to explore all paths to God.

Lois’ vision is to teach, to inspire, and to support all those who are on the path of spiritual transformation in order to express more of their divinity. She teaches, does spiritual counseling and is available for weddings.
